I admit it.  I'm a soy chai junkie.  My truck seems to drive itself to the local coffee shop and the barista knows my order.  (That's probably a bad thing.)  But I've always felt guilty about wasting those little cardboard cuffs I get around every cup.

So when I saw my first Coffee Cuff in the Winter 2006 issue of Quilting Arts Magazine, I was so excited.  What a cool idea!  The designer, D'Arcy-Jean Milne, first published the design in her book, Fabric Leftovers: Simple, Adaptable Ways to Use Up Scraps and then she designed two special versions of the Coffee Cuff just for Quilting Arts Magazine.  What a wonderful way to be green and show off your creativity!

Class Pictures

The quilters who took this class all approached the project with different ideas and visions.  I loved seeing their fabrics and embellishments.

Jean Petty moves on to her second coffee cuff.

So many ideas!
